I want to make the group aware of the Destroyer Escort Historical Museum if you don't already know of it. It's located in Albany, NY aboard the USS Slater.
I would encourage you to become a member of the museum which is dedicated to the DE's during the war and the men who manned them. The museum is a place that will remain in perpetuity to always tell the story and to have visitors and tours of the ship.
