William E Timmons

I recently received a message from Richard William Timmons.  Son of William E. Timmons, survivor who died in 1991.  Here are a couple of pictures and the message from Richard.

Hi,

I recently found these two old photos that you may not have yet but are welcome to keep.  They must be photos of part of the Underhill crew because in the upper right, rear, second from right is my father William E. Timmons.

My dad survived to raise a family of four children, three sons and one daughter.

Bill passed away in 1991 and his grave marker reads “William E. Timmons Seaman 1st Class”
